Harry Styles’ concerts are known to be extremely fun and full of wholesomeness. This is probably due to the fact that the singer is known not only for being a great entertainer but also for interacting a lot with his fans which creates a special connection and memorable moments as well. Here are some of his Love On Tour highlights so far:
Stopped concert to greet his first grade teacher who was in the audience
Something fans love about Harry is how grounded and humble he is despite his giant success and this was proven once again during his gig at Emirates Old Trafford stadium. He expressed how special it was for him to put on a show at home, as the venue was just around the corner from Holmes Chapel in Cheshire. Then he mentioned that his first school teacher, Mrs. Vernon, was in the crowd and asked the audience to help him find her. Once he spotted her, he went on his knees and thanked her. “It means a lot to me that you are here tonight, you were truly a wonderful teacher. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It means a lot that you’re here. I dedicate this song to you”, he said. After these words, he began to sing to her “Canyon Moon” in his honor.
Honoured Freddie Mercury during both concerts in London (night 1 and 2)
“Seeing as we’re at Wembley, it feels only right we should try something. If we could get as quiet as possible, I wanna hear a pin drop!” – said the 28-year-old singer who honoured Freddie Mercury by imitating his iconic moment on stage when he interacted with the audience showing off his vocal range and waiting to be sang back. Obviously, Harry’s fans didn’t disappoint and did it in the same way making it a memorable moment.
Helped a fan to come out at London show (night 2)
Harry Styles tends to start his concerts by telling his fans that he loves them no matter who they are or what they want to be. He makes them feel like it’s a safe place to be as free as they want, and that’s why for years fans have been asking him to help them come out during his shows. On this occasion, Harry saw an Italian fan’s sign asking him to do so and he raised the LGBTIQ flag to make it official as the entire crowd cheered and celebrated the moment.
Him getting emotional and bowing to fans at Wembley Stadium
There’s no doubt the singer, his band and team put their heart and soul into each of their shows but the first night at Wembley Stadium was quite special. People who attended said it was the biggest and loudest of crowds and not only did Harry got emotional and bowed the fans at the end of the show but he expressed it on twitter as well: “Wembley, last night was one of my favourite shows we’ve ever played. I don’t know where to begin thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed. I’m so grateful, I’m so happy. Thank you, thank you”.
Niall Horan spotted at London show (night 2)
Most of Harry Styles’ fans have been supporting him since his One Direction days and yesterday was both a surprising and wholesome moment for them when they found out that former band member Niall Horan was in attendance at the show. After the gig, fans who were closer uploaded a couple of videos of him casually vibing to Harry’s songs and looking especially proud during “What Makes You Beautiful”.
